PLINTH is an exciting collaboration between Skate Southampton and architect Rich Holland, aimed at integrating skateable sculptures into our public spaces.
Being both a local artist and a skateboarder, I had the privilege of contributing to this project by creating a unique intervention on the sculpture’s surface. To establish a connection with its surroundings, I painted the surface of the concrete sculpture designed by Rich to reflect the beauty of some of the utilitarian elements found in the nearby Civic Centre.
